A fishing rod case is protection well spent. Let me explain.
I'm not sure about you, but I like to use my own equipment when I am fishing. Hooking a big fish and trying to land it on equipment that is not familiar to me is tough. That is why I believe you should take your fishing rod and reel with you on all your fishing trips or vacations.
We don't recommend a soft fishing rod case, but a hard,
telescopic fishing rod case.
Lot's of people like the plano
fishing rod case but we like the this fishing
rod case because it's cheaper and works just
as well.
Over the years I have lost valuable fishing rods on airplanes due to the airline baggage
handlers. They are extremely rough on equipment, especially equipment used for fishing. Heck they are rough on everything as you probably already know. It is
worth the extra $30 or so to protect your valuable assests.
We've used many
different hard fishing rod cases some made by Plano
and others made by clear creek. It can hold up
to 8 fishing rods and it can expand in or out depending on the size of the
rods
you are taking. It is also good for those of you who have one piece
rods. It will extend out far enough to accomodate your 7 ft. fishing rods.
No matter where we travel or how far away from home we fish, all our fishing rods are now transported safely in this fishing rod case. I don't want to admit it, but.........
Over $500 in fishing rods are stored in this fishing rod case. We bang it around, we have tossed it from the second floor of hotels and it still keeps on protecting our fishing rods. This has become our number 1 gift to all our fishing buddies.
Those of you who
want to protect your fly fishing rod cases,
this selection below is a very good choice.
You can either hold, 2-3-4-5 different fly
rods without any worries at all.
